The Barham Green Space project
U-SNAP-BAC is one of 17 nonprofit organizations awarded a 2017 Kresge grant.  This funding allows U-SNAP-BAC to work with community residents and partners on transforming the vacant land on Barham Street (between Waveney and Mack Ave.) into healthy, green space that adds to the quality of life for people living, working and visiting the neighborhood.  We are very excited about this opportunity and believe we can develop a model project that provides substantial environmental, economic, and social benefits.  Check the web calendar for meeting dates.

If you want to receive updates on the project or serve on the advisory committee, email info@usnapbac.org or call Jawana at 313-640-1100.
